RetTrack Terms of Use
Effective Date: May 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RetTrack, an independent mobile application developed and operated by Giorgi Nonikashvili (“RetTrack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using RetTrack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use RetTrack.
2. Relationship to Apple Standard EULA
If you download RetTrack through the Apple App Store, your use of RetTrack is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom license agreement is provided through Apple’s App Store processes.
These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement by setting out RetTrack-specific rules, responsibilities, and limitations for use of the app and related features.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and any mandatory terms required by Apple, applicable App Store rules, or applicable law, the mandatory terms will control to the extent of the conflict.
3. What RetTrack Does
RetTrack is designed to help users organize purchase information, return dates, purchase photos, purchase status, and related reminders. RetTrack may allow users to create purchase entries, attach photos, track return windows, mark purchases as returned or kept, and receive reminder-related functionality.
RetTrack is an organizational and reminder tool. It does not sell products, process returns, represent retailers, determine store policies, or guarantee that any purchase is eligible for return.
4. User Responsibility for Purchase Information and Return Decisions
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information you enter into RetTrack, including item names, store names, prices, purchase dates, return dates, product links, notes, comments, and photos.
You remain solely responsible for verifying store policies, return windows, receipts, product condition requirements, shipping requirements, deadlines, and any other return-related conditions.
RetTrack does not provide legal, financial, retail, tax, consumer-rights, or professional advice.
5. Reminders and Notifications
RetTrack may provide reminder-related functionality to help you keep track of return dates or purchase decisions. Reminder delivery may depend on your device, operating system, notification permissions, local settings, connectivity, platform behavior, and other factors outside RetTrack’s control.
RetTrack does not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered, delivered on time, or displayed as expected.
You remain responsible for independently tracking return deadlines, verifying return eligibility, and taking timely action.
6. Accounts and Guest Mode
RetTrack may be used in guest mode or with a signed-in account.
Guest-mode data is stored locally on your device and may not be recoverable if you delete the app, reset your device, or clear local app data. If you create or sign in to an account, RetTrack may allow guest purchases to be migrated to your signed-in account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account.
7. Account Deletion
Signed-in users may delete their RetTrack account from within the app, subject to the account deletion process made available in RetTrack.
Account deletion may remove or disable access to your account and associated data, subject to any limited retention required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or compliance purposes.
Deleting the app from your device does not necessarily delete synced account data. If you want to delete a signed-in RetTrack account, you should use the in-app account deletion feature or contact us at:
rettrackapp@gmail.com
8. User Content
You may choose to add photos, notes, comments, product links, and other information to RetTrack (“User Content”).
You retain any rights you have in your User Content. You grant RetTrack a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use your User Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and operate RetTrack.
You must not upload, store, or share User Content through RetTrack that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, harmful, deceptive, invasive of another person’s privacy, or that you do not have the right to use.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse RetTrack or use the app in any way that could harm RetTrack, other users, service providers, or the security, availability, or integrity of the app.
You must not:
-
attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, database, storage bucket, or service connected to RetTrack;
-
interfere with, disrupt, abuse, overload, or attempt to bypass the security or technical limitations of RetTrack;
-
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from RetTrack, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
-
use RetTrack for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, or abusive purposes;
-
upload or store content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy rights, or violates applicable law;
-
misuse authentication, storage, sharing, reminder, or sync features;
-
use RetTrack in a way that violates these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.
10. Suspension, Restriction, and Termination
If we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused RetTrack, created legal risk, threatened the security or integrity of the app, or violated applicable law, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to RetTrack or certain features, remove or disable access to content, or take other appropriate action.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice or an opportunity to respond.
11. Third-Party Services
RetTrack may rely on third-party services, including authentication, database, storage, platform, and operating-system services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, policies, and technical requirements.
RetTrack is not responsible for third-party services, app stores, operating systems, device settings, retailer websites, store policies, or product return systems that are outside RetTrack’s control.
12. Changes to RetTrack
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue RetTrack or any feature of RetTrack from time to time. We may also change limits, features, account functionality, photo functionality, reminder behavior, or other aspects of the app.
Where appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice of material changes.
13. No Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RetTrack is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that RetTrack will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available at all times, or that reminders, sync, storage, or other features will always work as expected.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RetTrack and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, loss of data, missed return windows, rejected returns, missed reminders, or other losses arising from or related to your use of or inability to use RetTrack.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Mandatory Rights
These Terms will be interpreted to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Because RetTrack may be made available internationally, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any mandatory rights or protections that you may have under the laws of your country or region, including applicable consumer protection and data protection laws.
Additional governing law or dispute-resolution terms may apply through Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, Apple App Store terms, or other applicable platform terms.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in RetTrack, legal requirements, business practices, or app functionality. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating the effective date, providing in-app notice, or using another appropriate method.
Your continued use of RetTrack after updated Terms become effective means that the updated Terms apply to your use of the app, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
